Death Announcement

Andromachi Louka
17/02/1934 – 25/01/2021
(From Ayious Omoloyites, Nicosia. Lived in Enfield, Middlesex.)

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunty Andromachi, on Monday 25th January 2021 aged 86, after a short illness with brain cancer. She leaves behind her sons Loukis and George, her 4 grandchildren Natalie, Costa, Dean and Marios, her 2 great grandchildren Luke and Emilia and her nephews and nieces.
Andromachi lived in Enfield, Middlesex and had a wide circle of friends and relatives nearby and also close friends and relatives in Cyprus. She was a warm and friendly person and a great hostess with a passion for cooking and baking. She was well-known for her lovely food and bakes. She loved to be surrounded by her family and friends. Her funeral will take place on Tuesday 2nd March at the Greek Orthodox St Demetrios Church in Edmonton at 12.30 pm and will be buried with her late husband Costakis Louka in New Southgate cemetery. Sadly, due to COVID-19 restrictions there will be a limited number of attendees to both church and cemetery.

Με μεγάλη θλίψη ανακοινώνουμε τον θάνατο της πολυαγαπημένης μας μητέρας, γιαγιάς και θείας, Ανδρομάχης Λουκά, την Δευτέρα 25/01/2021 σε ηλικία 86 ετών. Τα τεθλιμμένα: παιδιά Λουκάς και Γιώργος Λουκά, εγγόνια: Ναταλία, Κώστας, Κωνσταντίνος και Μάριος, δισέγγονα Λουκάς και Αιμιλία. Ο θάνατος της αείμνηστης μας μητέρας άφησε μεγάλο κενό σε όλη την οικογένεια και στους πολλούς συγγενείς και φίλους.
Η κηδεία θα γίνει την Τρίτη 2/03/2021 και ώρα 12.30 μ.μ. στον ιερό ναό Αγίου Δημητρίου, Έντμοντον, Λονδίνο και η ταφή στο κοιμητήριο Νέον Σαουθκειτ. Δυστυχώς λόγων περιορισμών του Κορωνοϊού ο αριθμός των παρευρεθέντων θα είναι περιορισμένος.
