We sadly announce that Andreas Ttoffalli passed away on at the age of 82 on 27th January 2021.

He was laid to rest at a private blessing attended by close family 9th February 2021.

He leaves behind his wife Nethie, two daughters Margarita and Lucy, his son in laws Andy and Stathis and six grandchildren.

Andreas was born 1939 in London the son of Christos and Margarita Ttoffalli from Eftakomi in Cyprus who came to the UK in 1926 and had a restaurant business. Andreas also had a brother Toffs who went onto live in Florida and sadly passed away four years ago..

Andreas grew up in the East End and his first business venture was the Giant Steak house in Aldgate East.In 1963 he married Nethi from Famagusta and they had a family of two daughters Margarita and Lucy and a son Aristide who sadly passed away at the age of 27 in 1994.

Andreas later became a partner in a leather manufacturing company.and then to go on to open a successful fish and chip shop business in Seven Sisters Road in Holloway called Mr Toffs between 1982 and 1987 and during his time there he won fish and Chip awards from Islington Council.

In 1987 he opened another Fish and Chip shop in Muswell Hill and named it Toffs, again it had a good reputation and was the winner of the first National Fish and Chips shop Award which is still ongoing.

In 1997 Andreas sold the business and retired with his wife Nethi to Pervolia, Larnaca Cyprus.
