Do you recognise this man?

Detectives investigating a violent assault on the London Underground today (22 February) are urgently trying to identify him.

Shortly before 11am, the victim, a woman in her 50’s, had her eyes closed on a Jubilee Line Underground train when she realised a man was trying to unzip her bag.

She challenged the man before getting off the train at Green Park station. The man spat at her before punching her in the face and kicking her a number of times whilst she was on the floor.

The woman attended hospital and has been diagnosed with concussion.

Officers believe the man in the CCTV image may have information which could help their investigation.
