A landlord has been sentenced after pleading guilty to three offences under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 when it was found that a tragic house fire in 2019, which lead to the death of a 17 year old girl in a house which had been converted to a five-bedroom House in Multiple Occupation (HMO), could have been avoided.
