Apollon got back to winning ways on Tuesday night and return to holding the top spot in Cyprus after beating AEK Larnaca 3-0 with goals coming from a long range shot from Bieseswar a header from Yuste and a close range shot from Pittas an important win for Apollon making up for their loss of two points when they drew with bottom of the table Karmiotissa over the weekend. Apollon now have 51 points, one ahead of Omonia, and three in front of AEK, who have a game in hand.

Apoel finally got back to winning ways after three successive defeats with a 3-2 win over Olympiakos they took a 2-0 lead through Klonarides and Nsue Olympiakos pulled one back through an  Ouzoho goal. A minute later Apoel restored their  lead through Garner. Olympiakos reduced the score to 3-2 with twenty minutes to go with a Mantzis putting pressure on Apoel to hold onto their lead.

With the win Apoel moved three points above the relegation zone.

AEL failed to hold on their top spot falling to third place after a goalless draw with Anorthosis.

Omonia and Nea Salamina both inform teams played on Tuesday evening, with Omonia winning two nil in Nicosia both the  goals came in the first half with Omonia left-back Lecjaks the provider and their winter signing Scepovic the executioner on both occasions.
