The Census 2021 is being launched on 21st March and every household in England and Wales must complete the census by law. Federation President, Christos Karaolis, said “We want to use this opportunity to make sure that our Cypriot diaspora is counted, so that Governments and Councils take us into consideration in their decision-making.”
We’re therefore urging UK Cypriots to make sure they write-in “Cypriot” in the question about ethnicity / background. This can be done by selecting “Other ethnic group or background” and then typing in “Cypriot” in the space provided (see example below). Please do spread the word and encourage your family & friends to do the same!
