Police are appealing for information following a stabbing in Enfield.

Officers were called to reports of a male stabbed in the area of Wellington Road, Enfield at around 1540hrs on Wednesday, 10 February.

A man, aged in his 20s, has been taken to hospital. His condition is critical.

Detectives from North Area CID are investigating. A crime scene has been put in place.

There has been no arrest at this early stage.

A Section 60 is in place for the Enfield Highway, Ponders Ends and Bush Hill Park areas until 11130hrs on Thursday 11 February. We ask local people to speak with police officers in the area should they have any information or concerns.
