Death announcement Peter Orphanides
It is with great sadness, that we announce our beloved husband, dad, grandad and brother Peter Orphanides passed away on Tuesday 12th January, at the age of 67.

Peter leaves behind his loving wife Mary, two daughters Christina and Yiota, two sons-in-law, three grandchildren, his sister and brother, and many loyal relations and friends.

Peter’s family meant the world to him, as he did to them and he was loved beyond compare. His warm and gentle nature left a mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

The funeral will take place on Wednesday 17th February 2021 at 10:00am at the Greek Orthodox Church of St Demetrios, 2 Logan Rd, London N9 0LP and the burial to follow at Edmonton Cemetery, Church Street, N9 9HP.

Unfortunately, due to strict COVID-19 regulations allowing only 30 attendees, the service will be by invitation only.

We would like to extend our deepest thanks and gratitude to our family and friends for their love and support.

Με μεγάλη θλίψη, ανακοινώνουμε ότι ο αγαπημένος μας σύζυγος, πατέρας, παππούς και αδελφός Πέτρος Ορφανίδης απεβίωσε την Τρίτη 12 Ιανουαρίου, σε ηλικία 67 ετών.

Ο Πέτρος αφήνει πίσω την αγαπημένη του σύζυγο Μαριάνθη, δύο κόρες Χριστίνα και Γιώτα, δύο γαμπρούς, τρία εγγόνια, την αδελφή και τον αδελφό του, και πολλούς συγγενείς φίλους και γνωστούς.

Η οικογένεια του Πέτρου ήταν τα πάντα γι’ αυτόν και αγαπήθηκε και αυτός ασυζητητί. Η ζεστός και ήπιος χαρακτήρας θα μείνει αξέχαστος σε όλους όσοι είχαν το προνόμιο να τον γνωρίζουν.

Η κηδεία θα τελεσθεί την Τετάρτη 17 Φεβρουαρίου 2021 στις 10:00 π.μ. στην Ελληνική Ορθόδοξη Εκκλησία του Αγίου Δημητρίου, 2 Logan Rd, London N9 0LP και την ταφή στο κοιμητήριο του Edmonton, Church Street, N9 9HP.

Δυστυχώς, λόγω αυστηρών κανονισμών COVID-19 μόνο 30 μπορούν να παρευρεθούν και η συμμετοχή θα γίνεται μόνο κατόπιν πρόσκλησης.
