It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our loving wife, mother and grandmother Despina Christou who passed away on the 23rd December 2020 at the age of 81, after a long battle with illness. She was born in Cyprus, Ayios Amvrosios Kyrenia on 12/08/1939.
She leaves behind her husband George Christou, they have been married for 59 years, 2 sons Chris and Panny Christou, daughter Maria Theodorou, 7 grandchildren and relatives and friends.
The funeral will take place on Tuesday 26th January at church of St John the Baptist Church, Wightman road, at 12:30pm the burial at New Southgate cemetery at 2:30pm, the funeral directors are Demetriou & English.

Με μεγάλη θλίψη ανακοινώνουμε το θάνατο της αγαπημένης συζύγου, μητέρας και γιαγιάς Δέσποινας Χρήστου που απεβίωσε στις 23 Δεκεμβρίου 2020 σε ηλικία 81 ετών, μετά από μια μακρά μάχη με ασθένεια. Γεννήθηκε στην Κύπρο, στο Άγιος Αμβρόσιος Κερύνεια στις 12/08/1939. Αφήνει πίσω τον σύζυγό της για 59 χρόνια Γιώργο Χρήστου, 2 γιοι Χρήστο και Πανίκος Χρήστου, θυγατέρα Μαρία Θεοδώρου, 7 εγγόνια και συγγενείς και φίλοι. Η κηδεία θα τελεσθεί την Τρίτη 26 Ιανουαρίου στην εκκλησία του Αγίου Ιωάννη του Βαπτιστή, Wightman road, στις 12:30 μ.μ. και η ταφή στο κοιμητήριο του New Southgate στις 2:30 μ.μ., οι υπεύθυνοι της κηδείας, είναι τα γραφεία κηδειών, Demetriou & English.
