On Friday AEL Limassol beat Doxa Katokopias 3-1 to go second in the Cypriot first division.

Doxa srarted the better off the two teams with their top scorer Berat Sadik scoring from the oebalty spot in the seventh minute.

The home team AEL recovered late in the first half and scored in the 38th and 43rd minute both goals through Mmaee one a penalty. AEL’s Torres scired in the 65th minute to endure their 3-1 win.

In the other Friday match AEK Larnaca beat their neighbours Ermis Aradippou 3-1. Ermis took the lead through Valpoort in the 20th minute

AEK fought back and scored three goals a hat trick from Ivan Triscovski in the 23rd, 29th and 45th minute one a penalty
to give AEK a 3-1 win leaving them in 5th place on 34 points and Ermis on 20 points third from bottom.

Omonia went top of the table on Saturday level on points with Apollon who have still to play Sunday.

Omonia beat Enosis Neon Paralimni 1-0 in a very tough game and Omonia’s winning goal came in the 80th minute when from a corner Papoulis headed the ball towards the goal and Scepovic latched onto it to head the ball into the back of the net.

Bottom team Ethnikos Achna beat Olympiakos 2-1 Ethnikos scored first through Papageorgiou in the 74th minute Kostov equalised for Olympiakos in the 84th minute and Ethnikos scored their winning goal in added time through Majdevac to win 2-1.

In Sunday’s games Nea Salamina shook Apollon to a 1-1 draw in Larnaca.
Apollon took the lead just before the half time break with a penalty goal from Diguiny
Nea Salamina equalised in the 66th minute through De Oliveira. Apollon are on top on 44 points followed by Omonia 43, AEL 41 and Anorthosis on 40 points.
In the other Sunday game Apoel drew 0 -0 with Anorthosis.
