Vaccination in Cyprus will start on December 27, as in other EU member states, Health Minister Constantinos Ioannou says.

“Pending an approval from the EMA, we will start with vaccinations on December 27, as in the rest of EU countries” Ioannou wrote in a message, posted on Twitter.

The Cypriot Minister retweeted a message, posted by the European Commission President, Ursula von der Leyen, who wrote earlier today that “it`s Europe`s moment. On 27, 28 and 29 December vaccination will start across the EU.”

“We protect our citizens together. We are Stronger Together” von der Leyen noted in her message.
