This has been a tough year for many but NEPOMAK UK is as committed as ever to helping those less fortunate than us this Christmas. For the last three years, NEPOMAK UK has successfully run its Santa Shoebox campaign delivering gifts to impoverished children in Cyprus and to the school children enclaved in Rizokarpasso.
Given the unfortunate difficulties and limitations that the Coronavirus pandemic has brought upon us, we are unable to run our Santa Shoebox campaign this year but vulnerable children in Cyprus need our help more than ever before. We have been working hard to organise a whole host of community-centred events to raise money which we will donate to charities supporting children in Cyprus.
This year we will be working with two charities: (1) Caritas Cyprus, who have already assisted more than 3,200 families this year and currently support 700 vulnerable children in Cyprus; and (2) Help Rizokarpasso UK, who support the school children enclaved in Rizokarpasso by providing essential charitable aid.
On Sunday 20th December at 7:30pm, NEPOMAK UK will be hosting a virtual charity Christmas quiz on Zoom. It is open to all ages so join us with your friends and family as we put our knowledge to the test and battle for the title of quiz champion!
If that was not incentive enough, there are also a number of fantastic prizes up for grabs for the winners of the quiz and raffle, including a beauty hamper, a Bosch coffee machine, GoKarting race experience, kourabiedes and more!

You will be sent a unique link to the Zoom quiz and receive an automatic entry into our raffle. Additional raffle tickets can be purchased at £2.99 each.
You can either play in a team or individually. There is a maximum of 6 players per team, but please note that each player must purchase their own individual ticket to be in with a chance of winning a prize.
Please ensure you download Zoom prior to the event and ensure you have a mobile to hand to log into ‘myquiz.org’ to play along interactively. There will be 5 quiz rounds including a Christmas and a Cypriot knowledge round… so grab your friends and your favourite Christmas jumper and we look forward to seeing you there!
All the money raised on the night will go directly to our chosen charities supporting vulnerable children in Cyprus. The community support and charitable spirit never ceases to amaze us; as a tight-knit Cypriot diaspora it is important that we work closely together on charitable campaigns such as this one to do what we can to support Cypriot children who find themselves in much less fortunate positions than ourselves.
