Akanthou 2 Nissi 1
Panathinaikos v Pantel called off

In a staggered football stop and start season the KOPA League got rebooted and was able to kick off again after the latest lockdown on Sunday .
Only three games took place and after one month of no football matches and training it was no surprise that some of these teams felt rusty.
Apoel versus Omonia was no exception both teams played a cautions goalless first half not creating any real chances and when the they did the finishing was poor. This trend continued into the second half and it took a great solo goal from Demetri Frangeskides to break the ice , he recieved the ball just inside the Omonia half and moved forward and shot from 40 yards a blockbuster straight into the back of the net giving the Omonia keeper no chance of saving it and an important 1-0 win for Apoel.

Cinar were quick off the mark against Omonia Youth and leading 5-0 half time with the second half just becoming a formality.
Yannick 3, Zaine 1 and Kyri 1 scored in the first half. Cinar took Yannick off at half time to give other fringe players a chance. Omonia youth scored early in the second half, through an own goal and a penalty reducing the score to 5-2. Then Cinar added 2 further goals in the last 15 minutes. Their Second half scorers were Kyri and debutant Teon.
In the late kick off match 5pm at Haringey Borough Akanthou beat Nissi 2-1 it was a convincing win for Akanthou with Chris Spyrou scoring in the 23rd minute and a cracking goal from Akanthou’s new signing 18 year old left back Chris Stylianou who only making his second appearance scored a cracking goal when he went past four players before unleashing a great curling shot into the back of the net. Nissi reduced the score to 2-1 with a goal in added time.
