Officers from British Transport Police are urgently appealing for the public’s help in identifying a man who sadly suffered a cardiac arrest at Romford railway station yesterday (17 December).

British Transport Police were called to Romford railway station at 3.50pm on Thursday 17 December following reports of a man in cardiac arrest. Paramedics also attended, and the man was taken to a local hospital where he remains in a life-threatening condition.

Despite extensive enquiries, officers have been unable to identify the man. They are now urgently seeking the public’s help so they can inform his family.

The man is described as being white, approximately 30-years old, with short brown hair and a brown beard. He has a small circular scar on the right side of his chest and was wearing a dark top, dark puffer jacket and dark jogging bottoms as well as a pair of black Nike Air Force 1 trainers.

Officers are appealing for anyone may be able to help identify the man to come forward and assist their investigation as soon as possible.
