AEK U12s 2 v AC Finchley 2
A fantastic game, especially for the neutrals, where both teams played with commitment, great spirit and vigour.

With a finely-balanced first half, Finchley took a fortunate lead just before half-time to go 1-0 up. The second half begun in a frantic and frenetic manner and after some fine combination play, AEK deservedly equalised through a fine Deen goal who wrong-footed the keeper with a fine strike.

With chances continuing at both ends, Finchley took the lead, again rather fortuitously, via an AEK own goal, but AEK continued to press forward creating chances.
Their hard work was rewarded and via some excellent combination play from Lucca and Deen, managed to equalise with a great line range effort from Lucca.

Overall, a draw was a fair result and with both coaches complimenting each others teams, it represented an excellent advert for youth football.
