The UK Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab spoke to his Turkish counterpart on Thursday about the Cyprus settlement talks.

“The UK encourages all parties to engage in Cyprus peace talks,” Mr Raab wrote on his Twitter account.

He added that the discussion with Mevlut Cavusoglu was about the prospects for a peace settlement. 

They also discussed tensions in the Eastern Mediterranean and welcomed progress at the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum.
