Cyprus Police reported 26 individuals and two establishments during the last 24 hours for violating the measures in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

A police spokesperson told the Cyprus News Agency (CNA) that a total of 2.383  checks were carried out during the last 24 hours, 713 in Nicosia, 321 in Limassol, 326 in Larnaca, 290 in Pafos, 605 in Famagusta and 105 in Morphou.

Two people were booked in Nicosia, four in Limassol, six in Larnaca, eight in Pafos, five in Famagusta and one in Morphou. Moreover the Police reported one premises in Limassol and one in Morphou.

Moreover Traffic Department police officers prevented the passage in 85 cases from Limassol and Paphos during checks on the highway.

Marine Police carried out 23 checks, during which no one was reported.
