After the international break Cypriot football got to kick off again and again there were surprises maybe the fact that the games are being played behind closed doors and no home advantage for clubs and no vocal support has certainly shaken football.

Nea Salamina started the weekend at the bottom of the table and went up by two places to third from bottom by beating Omonia 2-1 they took an early lead through De Oliveira in the 9th minute, Omonia equalised in the 43rd minute through Papoulis and Nea Salamina scoring a winning goal through Wagner.
A great win for Nea Salamina new manager Savvas Damianou who has now managed them for three games and looking good with two draws versus Ethnikos Achna and Olympiakos and now a win versus Omonia.
Omonia manager Henning Berg will be looking to improve their league which has been very indifferent this season.
In Limassol, third placed AEL beat league leaders Anorthosis with a 66th minute goal from Mmaee
Ael’s Limassol rivals Apollon beat AEK in Larnaca to share top spot with Anorthosis but with a better goal difference Apollon led from the 29th minute through a Pittas goal AEK equalised in the 66th minute when Acoran put it in the back of the netted Apollon took the lead again with fifteen minutes to go when Diguiny popped up to score.
Doxa and Ermis Aradippou fought out a goalless draw as did Enosis Neon Paralimni versus Pafos. Karmiotissa drew 1-1 with Ethnikos Achnas.
