Louis Loizou is a freelance creative director. Louis is described as being a genuinely integrated creative with a fantastic visual eye – a team leader with style and client gravitas.Louis is a creative matchmaker – successfully introducing his clients’ brands to their customers.

With over 30 years experience, Louis has an extensive portfolio of fruitful relationships, including Microsoft, P&G, Blue Circle, Visa, Cap Gemini, Diageo, Hewlett-Packard, SC Johnson, GSK, Nestlé and Purina.

The past couple of years he has built up a strong freelance CV working with agencies such as Integer (TBWA), We Are Alexander, Oliver, Initials, Liquid Retail (Dubai), Pinwheel Content (California) and Jack Morton Worldwide.

Previously at Ogilvy/Geometry Global, he brought his wealth of shopper marketing and activation expertise to the SC Johnson account as Creative Director, leading an experienced and talented team on household FMCG brands like Glade, Autan, Kiwi, Raid, Duck and Mr Muscle. He also led the GlaxoSmithKline account for their Oral Care, Skin Health and Respiratory brands.

During his time at Saatchi X, where he was a founder member, Louis cut his teeth on successful projects for Visa’s sponsorship for the Winter Olympics in Torino, and primarily as lead shopper creative on the Pampers account where he co-produced shopper principles for the accounts’ global store based design. He also enjoyed a very successful time as interim-Creative Director at Saatchi X’s Frankfurt office, leading the team there to successful pitch wins for Salewa and successes for Pampers and MSC.

Louis has also presided as chair of judges at The Grocer Magazine’s Marketing, Advertising & PR awards and a regular reviewer and commentator on the latest new creative campaigns for the magazine. He has also written, designed and published the “SHOPPING LIST: 50 shopper marketing facts to put in your creative basket”.
