Three new coronavirus cases were announced by Cyprus’ Ministry of Health on Monday from a total of 1,855 tests, bringing the total of confirmed cases to 1,060.
According to a press release, one person tested positive out of 177 samples taken by private initiative. It concerns a woman from Philippines who lives in Cyprus. She had returned from Philippines on July 17 and has been under home isolation since then. She lives in Limassol.
The other two persons who tested positive, out of 103 samples in the context of contact tracing program, are contacts of a confirmed case announced on July 24. Both are in Limassol.
Additionally, no one tested positive out of 1,007 samples tested on passengers and Cypriot residents repatriating to Cyprus, out of 77 samples tested from the Microbiology Labs of the General Hospitals, out of 165 samples as part of referrals from personal doctors and special groups screening through the public health centres and out of 326 samples taken from residents of Kato Pyrgos Tyllirias.
