Department of Meteorology issued yellow warning for extreme high temperature today Monday.
 
Cyprus Department of Meteorology issued Sunday a yellow warning for extreme high temperature from 1300 until 1700 local time on Monday.
 
The warning said the maximum temperature is expected to rise to 40 degrees Celsius inland.
 
The Department noted that some health risks amongst vulnerable people, such as the elderly and very young people, are possible.
