Retro drive-in cinemas are popping up all over the country due to the coronavirus pandemic, so why not live out your Grease-fuelled, drive-in fantasy!
The Luna Cinema, The Drive In, and At the Drive In are all offering the attractive movie-going experience throughout the month of July and beyond.
Luna Cinema are hosting drive-in nights in various venues including Allianz Park in London. Films include Grease, Little Mermaid, Dirty Dancing, Sister Act, The Blues Brothers, and more recent hits like Joker, Jojo Rabbit, and Rocketman, with sing-along options also available for several films.
At The Drive In has announced viewings at two London locations and is screening Grease, alongside other hits like Back To The Future, Jaws, The Lion King, A Star Is Born, and Toy Story.
The Drive In is offering not only a wide array of drive-in films – including Dirty Dancing, 1917, La La Land, Moana, and Dumbo – at the Troubadour Meridian Water in Enfield, but will also host live comedy and music gigs.
Rooftop Film Club, with their new “Drive In Film Club”, is showing something for everyone at Alexandra Palace with a varied film list that includes Black Panther, Fight Club, and Lego Movie 2.
Tickets range from around £27.50 – £35 per vehicle. Most locations also have alcohol and American diner-style burgers and hot dogs available to buy.
