Joseph Panayiotou

It is with great sadness we announce the loss of a beloved husband, father and grandfather, Joseph Panayiotou who passed away 10th April 2020 at the age of 69. Joseph leaves behind his wife, Eleni and children, Panayiota, Neoclis, Kyriacos and Demetris, son-in-law Lefteris and daughters-in-law Eleanor, Marina, Litsa and 11 grandchildren.
Joseph was born in Nikokleia, Paphos 07th November 1950 and lived in Paphos until the age of 26yrs. He arrived 22nd March 1976 in England where he started working in the rag trade Industry and meeting his wife Eleni where he started to build his own family and future. He continued to successfully build his own business until he reached retirement age where he then enjoyed spending all his time with his family and grandchildren.
Joseph was truly an amazing, kind, generous and loving person who worked extremely hard throughout his life, always ensuring that his family had the best of everything they needed. He was a wonderful husband and the greatest father anyone could ever have wished for. He was and will continue to be his family’s greatest inspiration.
He was a very generous man who would always open his home to his family and friends if they needed a place to stay. We all love and miss him very much. His memory will live on within us all and will never be forgotten.
We hold you forever close within our hearts and we will never let you go. You shall always remain with us throughout our lives your memory will never fade.
The funeral will take place on the 17th July, 10am at the Church of St. Marys, Wood Green and the burial will follow after at New Southgate Cemetery.
A wake will be held at Rumours, 6 Ashfield Parade, N14 5AB (in compliance with the current government guidelines facilitating social distancing)

Mε μεγάλη θλίψη αναγγέλλουμε το θάνατο του πολυαγαπημένου μας συζύγου, πατέρα και παππού Ιωσήφ Παναγιώτου, ο οποίος απεβίωσε στις 10 Απριλίου 2020 σε ηλικία 69 ετών. Ο Ιωσήφ αφήνει την σύζυγό του Ελένη, παιδιά: Παναγιώτα, Νεοκλή, Κυριάκο και Δημήτρη, γαμπρό Λευτέρη, νύμφες: Ελεανόρ, Μαρίνα, Λίτσα και 11 εγγόνια.
Ο Ιωσήφ γεννήθηκε στην Νικόκλεια, Πάφος στις 7 Νοεμβρίου 1950, έζησε στην Πάφο μέχρι τα 26 του χρόνια. Στις 22 Μαρτίου 1976 ήρθε στην Αγγλία όπου άρχισε δουλειά στην ενδυματοβιομηχανία, όπου γνώρισε την σύζυγό του Ελένη και δημιούργησε την δική του οικογένεια.
Συνέχισε με επιτυχία την δική του επιχείρηση, ώσπου έφτασε στην ηλικία της συνταξιοδότησης, όπου στη συνέχεια απολάμβανε όλο το χρόνο με την οικογένεια και τα εγγονάκια του. Ο Iωσήφ ήταν πραγματικά ένας εκπληκτικός, ευγενικός, γενναιόδωρος και στοργικός άνθρωπος που εργάστηκε εξαιρετικά σκληρά καθ’ όλη την διάρκεια της ζωής του, διασφαλίζοντας πάντα ότι καλύτερο για την οικογένεια του. Ήταν ένας θαυμαστός σύζυγος και ο καλύτερος πατέρας που μπορούσε να ευχηθεί κανείς. Ήταν και θα συνεχίσει να είναι η μεγαλύτερη έμπνευση για όλη την οικογένεια.
Ήταν ένας πολύ γενναιόδωρος άντρας και πάντοτε το σπίτι του ήταν ανοικτό για να φιλοξενεί συγγενείς και φίλους. Όλοι τον αγαπάμε και θα μας λείψει πάρα πολύ. Η μνήμη του θα ζει μέσα μας και δεν θα ξεχαστεί ποτέ. Η κηδεία θα γίνει την Παρασκευή 17 Ιουλίου στις 10πμ, στην εκκλησία της Παναγίας στο Wood Green και η ταφή στο κοιμητήριο του New Southgate. H παρηγοριά θα γίνει στο Rumours, 6 Ashfield Parade, N14 5AB (σύμφωνα με τις τρέχουσες κυβερνητικές οδηγίες κοινωνικών αποστάσεων).
