Cyprus police reported eighteen premises between the early hours of Saturday morning and the early hours of Sunday morning for violations of measures in place to contain the COVID-19 pandemic.

In total 575 spot check were conducted across the island the police press office has told CNA.

In particular, no violations were reported out of 84 spot checks in Nicosia, while out of 72 spot checks in Limassol one premise was reported.

Out of 198 spot checks in Larnaca two premises were reported for violations, out of 100 spot checks in Famagusta four premises were reported and out of 26 spot checks in Pafos 11 premises were reported. Police also conducted a total of 95 spot checks in Morphou reporting no violations.
