New Salamis rise to second place in the Spartan South Midlands League

New Salamis started the day in third place and beat second placed Winslow two nil to switch places goals from Charlie Georgiou and his brother Harrison gave New Salamis three vital points.

The top 4 of the Spartan South Midlands League division one will be promoted to step 5 in the football League structure so its going to be an exciting few months  D1 will be promoted to Step 5 so it looks set to be an exciting few months. Stotford FC who have won their  last 8 games in a row and 644 people saw their 5-3 victory over fourth placed Shefford Campton  who opened their New Roker Park stadium on Saturday.
