Apoel are this week in top spot with 16 points three points ahead of second placed Omonia  and four points above of third placed Olympia.

They had a good result in beating Panathinaikos 4-2  but they did not get off to a good start as the game was delayed for half an hour as there were no referees or linesmen yet there were only three KOPA League games on Sunday.

Once the game started it was full of excitement and in a crazy three minutes  Apoel opened the scoring in the 11th minute and from the kick off after the goal was scored Panathinaikos was awarded a penalty a minute later but the Apoel keeper kept it out,But a minute later Luke Lane scored the second to give Apoel a 2-0 lead. Panathinaikos reduced the score in the 26th minute through Luke Durnin. Apoel increased their lead to 4-1 with two goals going into the break 4-1 up. Not long into the second half Panathinaikos reduced the score to 4-2 with John Efstathiou but the score stayed that way for Apoel to win 4-2,

Armenians v Komi Kebir turned out to be an eight goal thriller with Anthonu Georgiou producing a hat trick for Komi Kebir the other Komi goal was scored by Andreas Sheretis. Garo Heath scored the two goals for the Armenians,

Cinar got their feet off the ground by winning their first game of the season versus Pantel 4-3 their goals from Ergan Hasan, Riliz Camil,Mark Summers and 16 year old debutant Theo Mckenzie.Pantel’s goals were scored by Chris Spyrou and Jemel.
