New Salamis were outclassed by one of the better teams in the FA Vase trophy Eynesbury Rovers FC who play at a higher level and once had Sir Stanley Matthews playing for them.

It was an experience learnt for the reds and to see and play a very high level team and will come away ffom it with a lesson learnt.

Even so New Salamis were the better team and having more of the ball in the first half went into the break 1-0 down but a quick goal let in just after the break still did not deter them they reduced the score to 2-1 and afterwards had great opportunities to equalise but poor finishing let them down.

Two very quck goals one after the other killed off New Salamis to a final score of 6-1 a lesson learnt and im sure New Salamis will build on it.
