Firefighters carry out salvage work at Southgate house fire. Thankfully no reports of any injuries

Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a house in Langside Crescent in Southgate.

Part of the loft space was damaged by fire.

London Fire Brigade spokesperson said:

“Firefighters quickly dealt with the fire in the loft space. Thankfully there were no reports of any injuries. Fire crews also carried out salvage work on the lower floors of the property.”

The Brigade was called at 1538 and the fire was under control at 1633. Fire crews from Southgate, Finchley and Edmonton fire stations attended the scene.

  1. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
