The 2019-20 Europa League draw has left Manchester United facing the prospect of a long trip east to Kazakhstan. while Arsenal must avoid any early slip-ups in what could prove to be a difficult group.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s United have been pitted against FK Partizan, AZ Alkmaar and FC Astana in Group L, with the latter meaning a 6,000 round-journey to Kazakhstan.
As for last season’s finalists Arsenal, they face shorter – but tougher – journeys to face Eintracht Frankfurt, Standard Liege and Vitoria Guimaraes in Group F.
Wolves have been handed a winnable Group K with Besiktas their biggest threat, while Celtic and Rangers both have plenty of work to do with tough opponents in Groups E and G respectively.
