Cyprus and Iraq enhance their bilateral relations, particularly in the fields of economy and tourism. 

According to information, scheduled direct air flights connecting the two countries will be begin in about fifteen days.
 
Moreover, an Honorary Consul of Cyprus has been appointed in Iraq, while an effort is underway for Cypriot construction companies to participate in Iraq’s reconstruction.
 
The Foreign Ministers of Cyprus, Greece, Jordan and Iraq will meet on Sunday in Amman, prior to the Trilateral Summit among Cyprus, Greece and Jordan, to discuss issues concerning financial, trade and tourist cooperation.
