A 62 year old man was arrested on Sunday for killing a dog and injuring another. The dogs owner saw both the dogs one was injured in the street and the other dead in the front garden of the accused garden

The 62 year old defended himself by saying that the dogs had killed his rabbits and tried to scare them away by throwing water over them but he felt he was in danger that he shot them.

The police accused the owner of the dogs of not controlling them and were able to escape from his home.

When investigated by a vet it was found that the dogs had shot gun wounds and that the rabbits were killed by dog bites.
