At approximately 11.15pm on Sunday evening (29/10) officers were called to Barons Court London Underground station after reports of an assault resulting in a person falling onto the tracks.

Police were quickly on scene and a man (no further details at present) was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. He has been taken to custody as enquiries continue.

The victim, a man in his thirties, has been taken to hospital for treatment to minor injuries, they were thankfully not struck by a train.

A number of enquiries are underway to establish what happened and the circumstances leading to the victim being on the tracks.
