Marcos Baghdatis in the USA

Marcos kicked off his bid at the Western & Southern Open on Saturday. Appearing in the qualifying competition, he opens against Spanish veteran Feliciano Lopez.

Marcos will look to book his spot in the main draw at the Western & Southern Open after defeating Feliciano Lopez 76(5) 63 in qualifying. Next up: Dusan Lajovic.

A semifinalist in 2010, Marcos he made his eighth appearance at the ATP World Tour Masters 1000 event in Cincinnati. He owns a 10-7 record.
