Nominations open for Outstanding for All in Haringey
Do you know an inspirational teacher, a dedicated student or a school governor who always goes the extra mile?
Make sure they get the recognition they deserve by nominating them for an Outstanding for All award.
The awards, now in their sixth year, celebrate stories of success, team work, leadership and overcoming adversity across Haringey.
Previous winners have included Jane Daley, who scooped teacher of the year for her commitment to students at Blanche Neville School and Community Hero award winner Sam Hadfield, recognised for his dedication to his as site manager at St Aidan’s Primary School.
Support staff of the year, achievement in STEM and early years champions are also among the 12 categories at the awards
Everyone who is nominated will be invited to a sparkling award ceremony later this year.
Cllr Elin Weston,Ccabinet Member for Children, Education and Families, said:
“With 100 per cent of schools now rated Good or Outstanding, excellent results at Key Stage 2 and early years settings among the best in London, there is so much to celebrate when it comes to schools in Haringey.
All of those achievements are thanks to the people who make our schools brilliant – the teachers, pupils, support staff and governors who go above and beyond every single day.
“We want to ensure they get the recognition they deserve for their hard work, so if you know someone who fits the bill, make sure you nominate them for this year’s awards.”

- The Councillor Egan Achievement Award
