Its not a laughing matter anymore British tourist arrested in Ayia Napa, Cyprus

British tourist aged 19, was arrested early today Thursday July the 5th allegedly selling nitrous oxide commonly called laughing gas.

According to the Police they approached the accused at 12.30am this morning outside a disco where they saw he was in possession of laughing gas and was trying to sell balloons with laughing gas.

The police made an effort to arrest the 19 year old Briton but he resisted and in the process attacked a police officer striking him on the hand and face. But as he fleed he was stopped ten yards away and arrested.

The case is being investigated by Ayia Napa Police.
