A 22-year-old Nepalese woman working as a domestic helper in Cyprus was found dead in her employer’s swimming pool on Sunday evening.

The 22-year-old had accompanied her Nicosia employers to their holiday home in Protaras.

The woman’s employers found her body in the holiday home swimming pool at around 20:15 after they returned home from the beach.

Police were immediately called to the scene to investigate.Foul play has been ruled out.

The woman’s body was taken to the Famagusta General Hospital where doctors confirmed her death.

A post mortem examination scheduled to be performed on Monday morning at the Larnaca General Hospital is expected to reveal the 22-year-old’s exact cause of death.
