Second Division Cup Final in memory of MIchael Tzouvanni
Apoel 2 Komi Kebir 1 AET
What a game and what a night!
A huge crowd turned out to witness a great game of football at Haringey Borough where both sides gave absolutely everything!

The game started with Apoel keeping the ball well as they did for most of the game but it was Komi who took the lead when the impressive Jason Hayes put Kyri Chrostofi through on the right and he fired in an unstoppable shot to make it 1-0
Apoel kept pushing driven by captain Alex Louca and just before half time the pacy George Lutayya crossed from the left wing and Michael Spencer was on hand to pick up the pieces and curl a sweet shot into the corner of Ari’s net for the equaliser.
Apoel’s passing was more than matched with Komi’s commitment and the score stayed the same after 90 minutes with both keepers pulling off fantastic saves.
The crowd was treated to an extra 30 mins and it was Kyri Georgiou who broke Komi’s hearts with a few minutes of extra time remaining when he headed home a dubious free kick to send Apoel’s bench and fans wild.
The game was played with amazing spirit and was a great advert for KOPA and for the second division and both sets of managers, fans and committee members should be thoroughly proud of their teams
