Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at Mill Mead Road in Tottenham yesterday afternoon.

A nut roasting machine was completely destroyed by the blaze.

The fire is believed to be accidental due to the build of debris inside a hot oil fryer within the machine.

The Brigade was called at 1651 and the fire was under control by 1819. Fire crews from Tottenham and Stoke Newington fire stations were at the scene.
