We are appealing for information after a fridge was thrown into the path of a train.
The incident happened at 6.15pm last Monday (10/4) between Harrow and Wealdstone and Headstone Lane railway stations.
Someone threw a fridge-freezer off a bridge onto the path of an oncoming London Midland train.
The train collided with the fridge.
Investigating officer, PC Gary Thomas said: “Throwing a fridge-freezer into the path of an oncoming train is beyond stupid. Numerous people could have been hurt or killed by this idiotic act. Fortunately, on this occasion nobody was injured and the train was not damaged, but the consequences could have been fatal.
“I would like to speak to anybody who witnessed the incident, who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the Courtenay Avenue area in Harrow on this date, or has any information about what happened.
