Greek Cypriot actor Andy Demetrio who moved from the UK to Los Angeles, USA, over ten years ago, has co-wrote the female-driven psychological horror film St. Agatha.
The film is being directed by Darren Lynn Bousman, the director behind three instalments of the Saw horror franchise. He said, “I have always been drawn to narratives with strong female characters. In St. Agatha the writers have constructed a literal convent of interesting and unique women put in dramatic, suspenseful and even tragic positions.”
Though shooting began earlier this month in Atlanta, plot details are being kept under wraps about the script co-written by Andy together with Shaun Fletcher, Sara Sometti Michaels and Clint Sears.
The film will be produced by Srdjan Stakic and Michaels; Dragon Blood Productions and Pelé: Birth Of A Legend star Seth Michaels are executive producers.
Meanwhile, Andy has also been cast in the short-term role of Milos in popular US soap Days Of Our Lives.
The actor is set to appear in at least five episodes of the soap, beginning on 9 May 2017.
Andy’s credits include roles in Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, The Last Ship, The Full English, and The Ben Show with Ben Hoffman.
