Developing a culture of cooperation when teaching and learning history is the title of a conference, that starts tomorrow, at the Home for Cooperation, in Nicosia. The two-day conference is organized by the Association for Historical Dialogue and Research (AHDR) in cooperation with the Council of Europe (CoE).
It is held in the framework of the Cyprus Chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers of the CoE and, according to a relevant announcement, it is the final act of the project “Developing a culture of co-operation when teaching and learning history”.
The internet version of the program will be presented to participants on the first day, containing lesson plans that were based on case studies developed during a series of seminars, held in Nicosia between 2013 and 2016. Four workshops will follow on the event`s second day, with participants both form Cyprus and abroad.
