Police have taped off a section of bloodsoaked pavement in Finsbury Park after a man was attacked yesterday evening.

Officers were called at 5.30pm to the junction of Seven Sisters Road and Wilberforce Road and a large cordon was put in place. Scotland Yard said there were three suspects but no one has been arrested.

One witness said the pavement and the doorway to off-licence Food City was covered in blood.
