Cyprus national football team beat Kazakhstan with 3-1 in a friendly game at Antonis Papadopoulos stadium on Wednesday night.

 

Cyprus played managed to come back from being 1-0 behind by playing good football in the second half.

 

The Cypriot side proved to be in good condition a few days before the game with Estonia on Saturday (19:00) at the GSP stadium for the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

 

Kazakhstan went one goal ahead when Nuserbayev scored a brilliant goal 29 minutes into the game. Nestoras Mitides equalized at the 55’ with a header, while Phanos Katelaris turned things around for Cyprus at the 63’ on his debut with the national team. Demetris Christofi scored a third Cyprus goal to complete Cyprus victory with 3-1.
