Officers investigating a collision in Waltham Cross yesterday evening (Thursday, March 9) are appealing for information and witnesses.

Just before 10pm, a black Mercedes was involved in a collision with a pedestrian in Station Road.

The pedestrian – a man aged in his 50s – suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to hospital.

PC Dave Clarke, from the Beds, Cambs and Herts Roads Policing Unit, said: “I am appealing to anyone who saw the black Mercedes in the area prior to the incident or saw the collision to contact police via the Hertfordshire Constabulary non-emergency number 101, quoting ISR 809 of March 9.”
