George Michael reportedly left a considerable part of his £105 million to his sister.

The Sun reports that older sister Melanie is expected to receive the “lion’s share” of the pop star’s fortune, reflecting the close relationship between the siblings.

Melanie, who is 55 and a hairstylist, cut Michael’s hair throughout his career and travelled with him as his make-up artist when the star toured China in the late Eighties.Michael reportedly included his eldest sister, 57-year-old Yioda, in his will too. The Sun claims that he was “very close to his sisters, and the understanding is that they’re going to inherit most of his wealth, particularly Melanie who he was incredibly close to.”The report explained that “George was very family-orientated and even in his death he’s shown that. He was keen to see them well looked after for the future.”

Michael was found dead at his home in Goring-on-Thames, Oxfordshire on Christmas Day by his partner Fadi Fawaz. The Oxfordshire Coroner’s Office confirmed that a post mortem would be carried out to confirm the cause of death. So far, his representatives have cited this as heart failure.

The formal division of Michael’s will is expected to take place after a decision is made on a potential inquest.Since his death, stories of the star’s generosity have been pouring out from friends and fans, including a donation of £9,000 to a woman who went on Deal or No Deal to pay for IVF treatment and many donations to charities including Childline, which he wanted to keep anonymous during his lifetime.British police say George Michael autopsy ‘inconclusive’, more tests needed
