Police are investigating the death of a man found in a car on the Nicosia-Limassol motorway today Friday morning.

According to police sources, officers investigated a call at 4 am on Friday morning regarding a stationary car on the Nicosia-Limassol motorway near the Latsia exit.

Police discovered four people believed to be Turkish Cypriots in the car, one of which was unconscious and who was taken to the Nicosia General Hospital. He was pronounced dead by the doctors on duty.

The remaining three persons in the car were arrested as police had found knives in the car.

The autopsy report on the dead man has ruled out foul play.

Police are continuing with their investigation
