Revenue from tourism increases in February
Revenue from the tourist sector recorded an incrase of more than 10% in February this year, compared to last year.
According to a press release by the Cyprus Statistical Service, on the basis of the results of the Passenger Survey, revenue from tourism reached €31,3 mn in February 2014 compared to €28,3 mn in the corresponding month of the previous year, recording an increase of 10,5%.
For the period January – February 2014 revenue from tourism is estimated to €62,1 mn compared to €59,2 mn in the corresponding period of 2013, recording an increase of 4,8%.
