Race for Life in memory of Marios Zavros
Greek Cypriot Maria Zavrou and her Andrea are running the Race Of Life on Sunday 15th June 2014 in memory of Maria’s father Marios who lost his fight to Tongue Cancer at the beginning of the year.
Maria told Parikiaki, “Losing my amazing dad was such a shock; it all happened so quick….within four months we found out he had tongue cancer and then all of a sudden having to say our goodbyes. Not only was he a loving Dad, he was also a great husband, and an even better granddad.
“My daughter Alexia says to me ‘mummy do you think Bapou is making bbq in heaven?’ and I say of course he his. We would like to thank local businesses Stef & Philips Ltd in Palmers Green, Whestone Audi, T’s Tanning and Beauty and H’s Barbers in Bush Hill Park that have sponsored us and also family and friends.”
Any donations, big or small are very much appreciated as it all helps in getting closer to finding a cure for cancer. To support Maria and Andrea, please visit www.justgiving.com/in-memory-of-mario
