Pop star Peter Andre visited the Tesco Extra in Three Bridges as part of a cancer awareness campaign.

The event is part of the Peter Andre Foundation’s Cancer Awareness Roadshow, which visits communities to raise awareness of the disease.

The celebrity met and greeted fans for an hour from 3.30pm at the store in Hazelwick Avenue on Wednesday (April 30).

Store Manager Leigh Jerrard said he and his team were “delighted” to support the Foundation and excited for the arrival of Peter.

Cancer Research UK nurses were on hand to give out information about cancer prevention in a mobile bus in the store’s car park.

The Foundation was launched in April 2013 and raises funds for Cancer Research UK.
