Peter Andre opens new play area at London retail park

He was on hand to officially open a new play area at The London Designer Outlet – and doting father Peter Andre ensured the special occasion was shared by his nearest and dearest.

The 41-year-old singer was a celebrity guest at the Wembley shopping centre as it unveiled the much needed children’s park, purpose built for visiting families.

Andre – a father of three – was in good cheer as he did the honours by cutting its large lilac ribbon with a pair of scissors.

Ensuring his own brood were amongst the first to set foot inside the new play area he brought along Junior Savva, 8, and 6-year-old Princess Tiaamii – his two children with ex-wife Katie Price.
Fiancée Emily MacDonald made sure it was a family affair by bringing along their baby daughter Amelia, who was born on January 7.

Shortly after opening the children’s play area Andre took a quiet stroll with his loved ones.

Walking between his two oldest children the Australian star looked every inch the proud father as baby Amelia dozed in the baby carrier that hung from his broad shoulders.

Speaking to the Brent & Kilburn Times, Andre admitted he jumped at the chance to open the new park.

‘We love a family day out, so the kids and I are really looking forward to opening the London Designer Outlet Play Park and then going for a bite to eat and some outlet shopping,’ he said.

‘We’re also excited to be launching the children’s drawing competition with Make-A-Wish. I’m looking forward to seeing the cool play park ideas that the local kids of Wembley Park come up with.’

Peter popped the question to Emily on New Year’s Eve, just a day before she gave birth and the pair are said to be planning on having two weddings in 2015 – after Emily’s medical degree is finished.

Andre told New magazine: ‘Definitely, definitely got to do something traditionally English and then we’ll go to Cyprus and do a Greek wedding as well.’
